Here at Patch I take your privacy very seriously and will only collect information relevant to processing your order, or to send you information about forthcoming events, products or services if you have opted in to receiving my emails.
Below I have detailed the information I collect from customers, how it will be used and how long it will be kept for. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What information do I collect?
When making an enquiry about a particular product I will transfer your contact details to an Order spreadsheet so that I can contact you again to follow up on your enquiry.
When placing an order I will collect your name, address, telephone number and email address. If you order through my website, patchmemories.co.uk, this will be collected as part of the order process. If you order direct from me then I will collect this information over the telephone, face to face, by email, or by private message on facebook.
These details are collected so that I can contact you about your order, or to send your finished product to you.
Your email address will be collected when you sign up to my monthly email newsletter, ‘Making Memories’. This is so that I can contact you regularly to keep you up to date with Patch.
How will these contact details be used?
Enquiries and orders
Once you have given me your information I will transfer this to an Order spreadsheet, which I use to keep track of orders, to contact customers if I have a query, or when products are ready for collection.
Email newsletter – ‘Making Memories’
Your email will be stored on a database administered by Mailchimp and I will only email you on a monthly basis, or at other times with timely offers or news.
Who will it be shared with?
I will never share your data with anyone outside Patch. If you sign up to my montly newsletter your details will be held by Mailchimp, but they will not use your details to contact you themselves.
How long will your data be kept?
Enquiries and orders
In line with accountancy regulations I will keep your data on my Order spreadsheet for 7 years, after which time it will be deleted from my spreadsheet.
Your data will be held in my Mailchimp account until you unsubscribe from the service, after which point I will not be able to access your email address.
To the best of my knowledge this covers all the data that I collect from customers, but if you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at email@example.com
